Callas for Doris (Watercolor) I stayed with Doris for a weekend so my friend, Joan, could get away for a break. Doris had been ill for some time, but in spite of that, we were still able to have a nice weekend laughing and visiting. Sadly, she passed away a week later. I painted this picture while I stayed with her that weekend. These are my Callas for Doris, she holds a special place in my memories. |
